October is Child Abuse Prevention Month. In recognition, Minister of Children and Family Services Searle Turton has issued a statement on this important awareness month.
It reads in part: “Every child deserves to be safe, supported and live a life free from abuse. That is why we take the month of October to raise awareness of Child Abuse Prevention, especially the importance of reporting abuse."
