Aurora Sexual Assault Centre continues to partner with Lethbridge Polytechnic's Centre for Public Safety Applied Research (CPSAR) to ensure that program development is grounded in evidence and community need.
At a recent conference, the team presented research examining sexual violence reporting in Alberta and the potential role of Sexual Violence Restorative Justice (SVRJ) programs in expanding options for survivors.
The findings reinforce the importance of innovative, survivor-centred approaches to addressing sexual violence. Through collaborations like this, Aurora is helping to shape future responses and services while contributing to meaningful conversations about improving support for survivors throughout the province.
